Using Mission Reports dated from May 2, 1944 to July 31, 1944, and B-24 bestweb, I was able to find and name some of the planes flying alongside the Pistol Pakin Mamma from Kwajalein.
(August 8, 1944 the squadron moved from Kwajalein to Saipan where they lived in tents set up in a sugar cane field with mud a foot deep.)
Liberators in
numerical order are:
42-72 972 Unknown/unnamed
42-100 282 Unknown/unnamed
42-110 145 Unknown/unnamed
44-40 556 Stormy Weather
Pacific Avenger II is not actually shown in action during this time frame but is important since the same crew from P. A. (1) would fly her.
